$40/hr - $50/hr We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a Managed Services team supporting diverse client environments. This role serves as a senior technical escalation resource responsible for troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, leading projects, and providing guidance to junior engineers. Key Responsibilities Act as the highest level of technical escalation for network, server, cloud, and security-related issues. Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs. Support and administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization platforms. Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology improvement initiatives. Manage backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver projects. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in network, systems, or infrastructure engineering. Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting. Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure. Working knowledge of VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization technologies. Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and security frameworks. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Fortinet, or similar are a plus.
