Golden Valley, MN Job Description This role blends software development expertise with a strong focus on quality engineering and automated testing. You will contribute to both functional and non-functional areas of testing, driven by acceptance criteria or user stories. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing. Build scalable and reusable test automation solutions around the Flutter platform using Dart. Integrate automated testing intoCI/CD YAML
pipelines using the test automation platform built on Azure DevOps. Collaborate with developers, verification engineers, and product owners to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality goals. Perform functional, regression, smoke, performance, and reliability testing. Implement shift-left testing practices, ensuring quality is embedded early in the SDLC. Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure testability and reliability. Partner closely with DevOps, test automation platform team, and developers to improve release pipelines and automate reliability checks. Essential Skills 4+ years of hands-on mobile app development experience in Flutter and/or iOS and/or Android (Kotlin), contributing to production codebases. 4+ years designing and implementing automated tests for mobile applications (unit + UI/widget + integration), including test maintenance and reliability improvements. Strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and data flow, and ability to apply that understanding to improve testability and reliability. Ability to design meaningful, deterministic tests aligned to requirements and risk controls. Skilled in unit, widget/UI, integration, and end-to-end test approaches. Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ADO, Agile/Scrum). Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC). Experience with BLE interaction testing and diagnosing failure modes across mobile to embedded device to cloud boundaries. Familiarity with structured verification workflows and tooling (e.g., test management, traceability systems). Medical device/SaMD experience (regulated mobile preferred).Similar remote jobs
