Senior Mechanical Engineer (automated machine design)

50+ year-old (and growing!) automation engineering & manufacturing company has an opening for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with strong machine design experience. Direct-hire position with competitive benefits -includes profit sharing, 401K match, generous PTO, health/dental, and more!

Duties:

Lead the complete systems design of industrial automation systems Design and analyze (FEA) precision machined components Interface directly with customers and customer engineers in gathering specifications, answering technical questions, and conducting technical product presentations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goals Prepare 3D models

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar 7+ years of post-graduate experience Strong machine design and systems design experience Experience interfacing directly with customers 3D CAD modeling experience (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, etc.) Analysis experience (ANSYS a plus) Experience leading cross-functional teams Ability to pass a drug test
