Install 2 Cisco 9800 WLCs per site Perform proper/network cross-connects and fiber/CAT6 patching Support remote team duting cutover and validate installation

Tools Needed:

Console Cabel, Hotspot, Laber Marker, spare GBICs, Rack Servers

• PART 1: Installation & Deployment (Visit 1)

What Engineer Will Do:

• Perform site assessment (check existing switches & UPS setup)
• Take photos and note current connections
• Remove old hardware (switches & UPS)
• Install new switches & UPS in rack
• Perform cabling, labeling, and cleanup
• Power ON devices and check basic status (LEDs, power)
• Submit installation checklist + photos

Skills Required:

• Rack & Stack (hands-on installation)
• Cabling & labeling experience
• Basic knowledge of network switches
• UPS installation & power handling
• Ability to work independently onsite
• PART 2: Cutover & Validation (Visit 2)

What Engineer Will Do:

• Support network cutover with remote team
• Assist in basic troubleshooting if any issue occurs
• Ensure all devices are working properly after cutover
• Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) support
• Remove & pack old hardware (decommissioning)
• Take final photos and submit:
• Cutover report
• UAT confirmation
• Decommissioning details

Skills Required:

• Basic networking knowledge (switches, ports, connectivity)
• Ability to coordinate with remote engineers
• Troubleshooting mindset
• Good documentation & reporting skills
• Final Resource Requirement (Summary)
• We need ONE Engineer with ALL below skills:
• Smart Hands / Field Engineer
• Basic Network Support (L1/L2 level)
• UPS / Power handling experience
• Strong in cabling & rack work
• Able to manage both visits independently
