Job Description
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.

If so, General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has an exciting career opportunity for you as a Senior Network & Systems Engineer for the Information Technology - Limited Access Area (LAA) Team as part of Engineering Support Services. This position is a primary role as a Network Engineer, with a secondary focus as a Systems Engineer. In this role as a Senior Network & Systems Engineer you will: Provide day-to-day communication/network security operation and maintenance of multiple secure network infrastructures such as SIPRNet. Design, develop, build, and test network engineering solutions as part of a team that introduces new technologies and/or improves existing technologies in compliance with established project management processes. Lead major project initiatives and develop configurations using expertise in routing protocols, firewalls, datacenter protocols, security requirements and network virtualization. Troubleshoot, develop and design network architectures consisting of multilevel access and multilevel security platforms. Configure, install, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, VOIP systems, video teleconferencing, and various other network and telecommunication components. Analyze and determine corrective action for secure data communications networks. Implement US government
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
