Job Description
Job Summary Installing and configuring large scale Edge Network equipment to include Fortinet Fortigate firewalls, Cisco Catalyst 3650 and 9000 series switches, Cisco 1111 and 9000 series routers, Cisco APs and Wireless Controllers.
- Implementing disaster recovery plans
- Knowledge of information technology theory, principles, and practices in Edge routing/switching.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, local and wide area network systems.
- Knowledge of client/server network protocols and Internet/Intranet applications.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting data networks and troubleshooting tools.
- Skill in delivering responsive, quality customer service.
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation of systems and procedures.
- Ability to communicate with vendors and other stakeholders
- Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects across an enterprise network.
- Ability to read, understand and apply information from technical manuals
