Job Description

Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and manage data center, SD-WAN, and network-edge solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise network services. Configure and maintain Layer 3 dynamic routing, overlay and control-plane protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VPN, EVPN VXLAN) to optimize network performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DC and SD-WAN solutions with on-premises infrastructure and public-cloud providers. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues to ensure optimal operation. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures. Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies. Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to network emergencies as needed.
Requirements or Required Skills/Abilities:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN, Layer 3 dynamic routing protocols and/or DC software-defined networking solutions. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with architecting and deploying SD-WAN solutions from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN). Understanding and hands-on experience with architecting and deploying data center SDN solutions from leading vendors (e.g., Juniper Apstra, Cisco
NDO / ACI
/ NDFC, Arista Cloudvision). Strong understanding of public cloud networking (e.g. AWS, Azure). Familiarity with digital edge networking (e.g. Equinix, Megaport) and software-defined cloud interconnects. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP. Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies, including VPNs, firewalls, and access control. Familiarity with data center network concepts and technologies, including
VXLAN BGP EVPN.
Familiarity with IAC concepts and platforms, such as Python, Ansible and Terraform. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications such as
CCNP, ACSDX, AWS
advanced networking specialist, or equivalent are preferred. Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, NetFlow). Education and/or
Certifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
