Our client, a large enterprise organization with a complex and highly available technology environment, is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer with deep expertise in firewall engineering and enterprise networking. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting critical network infrastructure while serving as a subject matter expert for next-generation firewall technologies. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise network security solutions with a focus on Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewalls. Develop and manage firewall policies, security rules, NAT configurations, VPNs, and access controls. Analyze firewall logs, network traffic, and security events to identify risks and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Lead firewall upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management initiatives. Provide advanced troubleshooting for network and security issues involving routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and WAN/LAN environments. Support enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless systems, and security platforms. Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver secure and reliable services. Participate in incident response efforts, root cause analysis, and remediation activities. Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures. Contribute to infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and post-deployment support.
