Months Responsibilities:
Led end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) solutions for both Storage Unit (SU) and Handling Unit (HU) managed warehouses, including complete warehouse setup from blueprint to go-live. Having experience in EWM also. Configured and supported core warehouse processes including goods receipt, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, stock transfers, cycle counting, and physical inventory management. Implemented and optimized manual and automated warehouse operations, integrating SAP WM with warehouse automation technologies, scanners, conveyors, and Warehouse Control Systems. Designed warehouse structures and strategies including warehouse numbers, storage types, storage sections, storage bins, interim storage types, picking areas, and putaway/removal strategies. Configured HU Management processes including packing specifications, handling unit creation, nesting, label printing, and HU movement tracking across warehouse operations. Worked closely with SAP MM processes, supporting inventory management, material movements, goods receipt/issues, transfer postings, batch management, serial number management, and material master integration. Developed functional specifications and partnered with ABAP teams to deliver enhancements, user exits, BADIs, RF developments, reports, forms, interfaces, and custom warehouse solutions. Resolved complex SAP WM production incidents through detailed root cause analysis, defect resolution, performance optimization, and implementation of sustainable corrective actions. Supported integration of SAP WM with MM, PP, QM, SD and external 3PL solutions, ensuring seamless end-to-end logistics and inventory flows. Led Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, documentation, SOP creation, user training, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
