Location Westerlo (BE) Organisation Unit Cabin Plant Fulltime Fulltime Education level Master Contract type Permanent contract Job description Je bent als Automation Engineer verantwoordelijk voor het eindresultaat van automatiseringsprojecten met betrekking tot de technische uitvoering, doorlooptijd en kostenbeheersing. Implementeren en in bedrijfstellen van PLC-besturingen;Analyseren en beoordelen van industriële automatiseringsprojecten op het gebied van haalbaarheid, technische uitvoering, kosten en realisatietermijn; Ondersteuning bieden aan de onderhoudsafdeling bij complexere storingen; Vastleggen van standaards, protocollen, modellen en normen op het gebied van industriële automatisering; Opstellen van gespecificeerde omschrijvingen van de te ontwikkelen PLC-besturingssystemen in de vorm van specificaties. Als Automation Engineer rapporteer je aan het Groepshoofd Central Production Engineering. Your profile Industrieel ingenieur van opleiding met enige jaren relevante werkervaring in een productieomgeving; Je hebt kennis van Siemens S7 en TIA PLC programmatie, alsook ben je in staat om elektrische schema's te interpreteren; Je hebt kennis van SCADA systemen (TIA, WinCC). Kennis van industriële protocollen zoals OPC-UA, Profinet/profibus zijn een voordeel. Je bent bekend met principes als Six Sigma en Lean Manufacturing; Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal en kan makkelijk communiceren met interne en externe partijen; Sterke interesse in Industrie 4.0 en ambitie om verder te groeien in dit domein. Een flexibele en servicegerichte instelling, met daarnaast sterke analytische en probleemoplossende skills. Department Als automation engineer word je tewerkgesteld binnen onze DAF Cabinefabriek, in Westerlo. De Cabinefabriek is volop in beweging.
