Contract Role Overview As a Network Support Specialist, you will be responsible for executing daily responsibilities related to incident management, device monitoring, network troubleshooting, application support, and upgrade project implementation. This IT-focused role emphasizes assisting in the monitoring and support of core software and hardware applications and requires building strong working relationships with all technical support teams. Key Responsibilities Monitor and support the store WAN infrastructure for domestic and international offices. Function as a Jr. Incident Manager in support of high-priority incidents. Monitor and support store and corporate office network hardware. Monitor and support core applications. Monitor and support the wireless network, SAN, and VOIP systems. Conduct monitoring and incident management of data centers, labs, storage facilities, and disaster recovery facilities.

Required Qualifications Education:

A 4-year degree in an IT-related field is preferred.

Experience:

Experience with Windows OS is required. Familiarity with Linux-based systems and hardware is necessary. Experience troubleshooting Cisco and Juniper network equipment is also required.

Technical Skills:

The role requires the ability to communicate effectively with technical associates and executives, navigate technical issues, evaluate risk, and direct the work of others. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of mainframe operations (MVS) and/or Oracle Batch processes is a plus. Technical services experience in a retail environment is a plus.
