Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to oversee and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting complex network systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in IP networking, network configuration, routing, switching, and telecommunications, providing technical troubleshooting support and network administration to support our business operations. Responsibilities Manage and optimize the organization's network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and performance. Design, configure, and implement IP networking solutions tailored to organizational needs. Maintain and support network routing protocols, ensuring efficient data flow across networks. Oversee network switching configurations and management to support scalable and secure network environments. Provide technical troubleshooting support for network issues, diagnosing problems quickly and implementing effective solutions. Administer network systems, including monitoring performance, applying updates, and maintaining security protocols. Support telecommunication systems integrated with the broader network infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades or expansions. Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing. Requirements Proven experience in managing complex network infrastructure within a corporate environment. Strong expertise in IP networking, including routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, or EIGRP. Extensive knowledge of network configuration and administration across various hardware platforms. Experience with network switching technologies (e.g., Cisco switches) and telecommunications systems. Skilled in technical troubleshooting support with a focus on engineering troubleshooting methodologies. Familiarity with security best practices for protecting enterprise networks. Ability to analyze and resolve network issues efficiently under pressure. Relevant certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
