Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• IT or related
• 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering
• Hands on experience working within an Cisco Catalyst network environment
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching (LAN/WAN, VLANs), wireless technologies, and network security standards
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), VLANs, and Cisco networking technologies
• Highly self motivated and directed with attention to details On call availability as part of a rotation schedule Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• CCNA preferred
• Healthcare experience Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer II to support a healthcare client located in Ohio.

This candidate will be responsible for assisting with the campus network design, implementation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure hardware and software components.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, configure, and maintain campus wide wired and wireless network hardware and software
• Assist with the evaluation and recommendation of technical solutions, ranging from local to enterprise wide deployments
• Resolve network performance issues, manage network outages, and provide escalation support for technical teams
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal IT teams to deliver projects and maintain system uptime

Compensation:

$40 to $50/hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
