Knowledge:

Basic knowledge of switching and routing devices including configuring and troubleshooting individual ports using testing equipment and packet analyzer software. Basic knowledge of copper and fiber cabling formats and standards. Basic knowledge of wireless networking radio frequencies and propagation. Knowledge of and experience in testing network cabling using a variety of testing equipment. Knowledge of and experience in network port configuration. Knowledge of and experience in wireless access point and point-to-point equipment configuration. Knowledge of and experience in troubleshooting network connectivity issues on customer devices such as laptops and mobile phones. Knowledge of and experience in configuring phones in a VoIP phone system. Knowledge of and experience in configuring voicemail boxes. Knowledge of IPv4 networking. Ability to lift at least 75 pounds. Ability to work while on ladders and/or lifts. Ability to drive a vehicle with a trailer. Ability to operate a medium-sized generator. Ability to work in a construction site environment.
