(Wi-Fi) Network security Full Job Description Description SCOPE- ~60% Cisco wireless — 9800 controller and AP fleet, Catalyst Center, wireless security, RF design, client troubleshooting, Wi-Fi scorecard.
- ~25% Cisco SD-WAN — 670+ site footprint: WAN Edge onboarding, policy and segmentation, branch turn-up, on-call.
- ~15% core networking — campus LAN and routing, ISE, DNS/DHCP, Ivanti change and CMDB discipline.
FIRST-YEAR OUTCOMES
- 90 days — controller/AP health baseline; all open wireless TAC cases driven to root cause.
- 6 months — Tangible WiFi stability improvements, consolidations done; telemetry verified; Wi-Fi scorecard published.
- 9 months — Dallas and Ashburn hub wireless delivered on the RNB schedule; runbooks complete.
- 12 months — incident volume down vs.
