Job Description
Automation Controls Engineer responsible for PLC programming, electrical design, commissioning, customer training, and automation system support. Job Requirements Experience with PLC and software development Experience with hardware engineering Experience with electrical panel design and schematic design Knowledge of electrical devices and wiring techniques Experience commissioning systems, machinery, and equipment Experience managing subprojects Knowledge of automation engineering standards, including EN 60204-1 and
IEC 60439-1
Knowledge of code-based system design, including NEC, NFPA, and UL requirements Experience designing panels and arranging inspections Knowledge of safety engineering according to EN954-1 Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming Experience withHMI/SCADA
systems Experience with fieldbus technologies Experience with servo motors and motion control programming Experience with sensors, barcode readers, RFID technology, and related automation devices Understanding of pneumatics, including valves, valve banks, and actuators Preferred Skills Experience with Omron, Siemens, or Beckhoff PLC programming Experience with C++ or Java programming Exposure to FactoryTalk Optix Experience with robot programming, including Fanuc, UR, or Omron Experience with AutoDesk CAD tools Exposure to EPlan Electric P8 Job Responsibilities Program PLCs and develop automation software Complete hardware engineering tasks for automation systems Design electrical panels and schematics Select and apply electrical devices and wiring techniques Commission systems, machinery, and equipment Train customers on equipment operation and system use Service customer equipment and automation systems as needed Manage assigned subprojects Support sales and quoting activities Support conceptual design for automation projects Design automation systems to applicable codes and standards Coordinate panel inspection requirements Program and supportHMI/SCADA
systems Program servo motors and motion control systems Apply sensors, barcode readers, RFID technology, and fieldbus technologies in automation systems Support pneumatic system design and troubleshootingPay Details:
