In-Person $153400.00 - $171000.00 per Year 5 Years Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Susquehanna International Group, LLP seeks Automation Engineer - Mid (Multiple Openings) to autonomously develop enterprise wide system and software management tools on Linux and Windows Operating systems. Drive all phases of the development process from initial requirements gathering through final quality assurance, implementation and subsequent enhancements and support of the product. Create, deploy and support systems which monitor and manage network devices, servers, applications, and real-time network traffic. Lead the problem definition, decomposition and solutions definition with the team to automate the provisioning of a world class data center. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams in implementing and optimizing their technical workflows and deliverables. Use scripting languages (such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Perl.) and open source technologies, including Elasticsearch, Grafana, Nagios, and Ganglia, to assist in improving, automating and configuring the firm's existing monitoring, alerting, and job scheduling tool sets. Identify opportunities to improve, extend, or add hardware to scale solutions appropriately for growing business demands. Collaborate with other technology teams to build, deliver, support and maintain components that are being leveraged by other teams and making sure they scale and work for that team's needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or its foreign equivalent, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Windows or Linux systems administration implementing configuration management & automation solutions in a large production datacenter environment. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or its foreign equivalent plus two (2) years of experience in Windows or Linux systems administration implementing configuration management & automation solutions in a large production datacenter environment.
