Job Description:
Senior VMware Engineer (VCF Specialist) About the Role We are seeking a seasoned VMware Administrator / Engineer with 7-10+ years of hands-on experience to maintain, optimize, and support our enterprise VMware virtual environments across both converged and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI). In this role, you will play a critical part in day-to-day operations, monthly patching routines, system automation, and security compliance. You will directly manage key components of our VMware suite-including vCenter, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Aria Automation, Aria Operations, and Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Maintenance:
Execute day-to-day administration, monthly patching cycles, health monitoring, and system reporting across vCenter and VCF stacks.
Automation & Disaster Recovery:
Utilize VMware Aria Automation and Site Recovery Manager (SRM) to drive operational efficiency and robust DR readiness.
Security & Compliance:
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to enforce strict security standards and maintain infrastructure resilience.
Project & Activity Coordination:
Manage high-volume project workloads with intense prioritization, rigorous activity tracking, and clear documentation. Required Qualifications & Skills 7+ Years of Experience in VMware Administration within enterprise converged/hyper-converged environments. VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
Stack:
Hands-on experience with VCF architecture and deep expertise in vCenter.
VMware Aria Suite:
Proven experience with VMware Aria Operations and Aria Automation.
Disaster Recovery:
Solid background in VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) or equivalent DR frameworks.
Core Competencies:
Strong operational communication, meticulous attention to detail, and top-tier documentation skills.
Education Requirements Education:
