Active TS with SCI eligibility Overview This is a senior-level network engineering role supporting a mission-critical government environment. The position focuses on network infrastructure management, network security, cross-domain solutions, and modernization efforts , while serving as the primary technical expert for enterprise networking operations. Responsibilities Support the ITP network infrastructure, perform routine maintenance activities, and provide guidance on upgrades and system recapitalization. Oversee High Speed Guard Cross Domain solution supporting data transfer between multiple classification domains. Support all documentation to effectively capture the configuration baseline. Design and support system recapitalization plans to accommodate capacity growth and changes as directed by the customer. Serve as the subject matter expert on all ITP network infrastructure. Requirements Bachelor's degree with at least 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. Experience deploying and managing LAN and WAN Switches and Firewalls, including Cisco 2900, 4500, 9300, 9400, 6800, Nexus 9000, and Cisco Firepower, ASA. Strong knowledge of defense-in-depth principles, network security architecture, and common security elements. Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment. Experience with incident lifecycle management, incident response, and mitigation strategies. Network management experience with Solarwinds, WhatsUP Gold, NetQoS, NetBrain; familiar with VMWARE, Linux, Microsoft Server, and Active Directory. Ability to build firewall policies and optimize rules for threat prevention. Support for ATO reviews and audits. Ability to obtain

Education:

BS degree; preferred Master's in IT Management, Engineering, or related field. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
