Job Description

Job Title:
Network and Vetronics Engineer Job Description This role involves serving in a customer-facing position to assist with overseeing and managing efforts related to the integration and fielding of various C4ISR systems onto all platforms within the PEO portfolio. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert for C4ISR systems, with the opportunity to gain familiarity with these systems throughout their tenure. The position requires interfacing with PM offices and other PEOs to keep abreast of current and future technologies relevant to the
PEO CS&CSS
portfolio. Responsibilities Coordinate data calls and taskers related to C4ISR among subordinate organizations within the PEO. Compile feedback and provide consolidated responses on behalf of
PEO CS&CSS.
Partner with PM engineers to synchronize schedules and funding for fielding C4ISR technologies. Ensure understanding of customer needs and implement strategies for optimal support. Maintain a detailed document library for PEO staff. Lead recurring meetings on behalf of the
PEO CS&CSS
Network Integration team. Participate in meetings within the PEO and with external organizations, taking notes and relaying relevant information. Participate in the development of C4ISR system requirements and solicit input from subordinate organizations. Essential Skills Experience in project engineering, guiding projects from concept to launch. Requirements management, including interpreting and negotiating customer requirements. Experience with vetronics and vehicle electronics. Proficiency in report writing and working with wiring schematics. Strong knowledge of communication systems and C5ISR. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have an engineering degree. Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance - secret level. Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work environment with a mix of on-site and remote work. Candidates will interface with various stakeholders related to their specific program. The role promises a great work/life balance, with minimal overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling Heights, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $64.91/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
