We are at the forefront of New England's ongoing transition to clean energy. This position is responsible for leading and engaging in the design, testing, implementation, monitoring and debugging of critical power system model changes to the Energy Management System (EMS) related to SCADA communications. The Engineer will develop a detailed and in-depth knowledge of the New England communication systems.

Excellent analytical skills Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities Desired, but not required: Experience with GE's eTerraPlatform EMS environment or similar product SCADA, RTU, ICCP, synchrophasor Communications knowledge (DNP3,TASE.2,C37-118,MODBUS,TCPIP protocols) Networking knowledge / experience PMU device knowledge BARCO CMS

The expected salary range for Communications Engineer is $100,000 - $135,000 per year. We will also consider a Senior Communications Engineer. The pay range for the Senior level is $130,000 - $146,000 annually.
