Full‑time Overview We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong Microsoft 365 experience to support, secure, and optimize client environments. This role is ideal for an engineer who is comfortable working across network infrastructure, identity, security, and cloud services in a fast‑paced MSP environment. You will work directly with client environments ranging from small to mid‑sized organizations, providing both day‑to‑day support and project-based implementations focused on reliability, security, and scalability. Key ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft 365 / Cloud Infrastructure Administer and secure Microsoft 365 tenants including: Entra ID (Azure AD) Exchange Online SharePoint Online OneDrive Microsoft Teams Implement and manage: MFA and Conditional Access policies Role‑based access control and admin privilege best practices Identity lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding) Configure and maintain Microsoft security tools: Defender for Office 365 Defender for Endpoint Security baselines and tenant hardening Monitor M365 audit logs, alerts, and security events; investigate and remediate issues Assist with M365 migrations (email, files, domains, tenants) Network & Infrastructure Engineering Design, deploy, and support: Firewalls, switches, wireless access points VPNs and secure remote access Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues Implement network segmentation and security best practices Maintain documentation including network diagrams and configuration standards Support on‑prem and hybrid environments (AD, DNS, DHCP) Endpoint & Systems Management Support Windows and macOS endpoints Deploy and manage EDR/AV solutions Assist with patch management and system updates Enforce device security standards (disk encryption, admin rights, compliance) Security & Best Practices Identify security gaps and recommend remediation Assist with security assessments and vulnerability remediation Support incident response efforts and root cause analysis Follow framework-aligned best practices (NIST, CIS, Microsoft Secure Score) MSP Operations Work within PSA/RMM tools (ConnectWise preferred) Handle escalated tickets and client-facing technical meetings Participate in after-hours/on-call rotation (if applicable) Clearly document work performed and solutions implemented Communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical clients Required Skills & Experience 3+ years experience in a Network Engineer or Systems Engineer role Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration Solid understanding of: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs Firewall configuration and troubleshooting Active Directory and Entra ID Experience supporting multiple client environments (MSP experience preferred) Ability to troubleshoot across cloud, network, and endpoint layers
