Network Engineer

Position Summary The Network Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure across all company locations. This position operates at the intersection of IT and Operations, ensuring that network systems enable efficient, scalable, and reliable warehouse and business operations. This individual partners closely with Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into network and infrastructure solutions, balancing hands-on execution with strategic improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Work with Senior Network Engineer to Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple facilities Work with Senior Network Engineer to support & maintain firewalls, VLANs, routing, VPNs, and wireless networks Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve network incidents Support warehouse systems, VoIP, and facility technologies Work with Director of IT to support infrastructure upgrades and network standardization projects Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams Support new facility setup including network design and deployment Security & Compliance Maintain network security standards and protocols Support surveillance and access control systems Assist with audits and compliance requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience) 10+ years networking experience preferred 2+ years Fortinet experience required Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs Experience with Microsoft environments and network tools Familiarity with cloud or hybrid infrastructure preferred Core Competencies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environments High attention to detail and execution focus Work Environment Office and warehouse environment Up to 30% travel depending on company project needs

Pay:

From $80,000.00 per year
