Job Description
We're looking for a hands-on Senior Network Engineer to join a lean, highly collaborative corporate IT team supporting a large, rapidly growing organization. This is a high-impact role where you'll be working across a wide variety of environments — helping standardize, secure, and support network infrastructure across the business. This isn't a "sit back and maintain" type of role. You'll be jumping into different environments, solving real problems, and helping shape network and security practices as the company continues to scale. What You'll Be Doing You'll split your time between core networking and network security, working across multiple environments and technologies: Design, support, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments, including VLANs, VPNs, and subnetting Work hands-on with firewalls (primarily Palo Alto, with some Check Point) — including policy management, NAT, VPNs, and troubleshooting Support network infrastructure across routers, switches, wireless, and firewalls (Cisco/Meraki environment) Help standardize and secure networks across newly acquired subsidiaries Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to outages (sometimes after hours as part of a shared on-call rotation) Partner with internal teams and subsidiary IT groups to improve network reliability and security Assist with firewall rule reviews, cleanup, and ongoing optimization Support a mix of existing infrastructure and new implementations tied to growth and acquisitions Travel (~20%) to support on-site network integrations when needed What We're Looking For Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking (routing, switching, troubleshooting) Solid experience with firewalls — ideally Palo Alto (primary) or Check Point Experience working in complex or multi-site environments Comfortable handling outages, escalations, and real-time troubleshooting Someone who's proactive, adaptable, and not afraid to jump into unfamiliar environments Strong communication skills — you'll be working with a variety of teams across the business Team-first mindset — this group is tight-knit and supports each other
