Job Summary:
We're looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test with solid experience testing web-based UIs. This is a great opportunity to help define our end-to-end automation stack, joining a team of skilled software engineers developing across the full stack down to bare metal. We're tackling new and critical problems, building products ranging from energy weapons to AI-powered sensors and drone swarm defense. As we enhance, scale, and deploy our systems, we need SDETs who are eager to learn, contribute meaningfully, and grow their skills alongside a talented team.Responsibilities:
Building and maintaining UI Test Automation infrastructure Developing and maintaining a suite of UI driven end-to-end tests Ensuring execution environments are maintained including simulation, HIL and on system Building out automated test run infrastructure and monitoring CI/CD Leveraging AI tooling to improve our automated testing process including metrics and reports Documenting tests, organizing test reviews and communicating test coverage clearly to stakeholders Assisting with our UI release pipeline and release documentationBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Minimum of 5 years of professional software development in test, test automation, or software engineering experience Experience building and maintaining end-to-end automated test suites for web-based applications Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript Experience testing React applications and modern front-end architectures Experience with automated testing in CI/CD environments, including test execution, failure triage, and reporting Experience developing test plans, test cases, and coverage strategies aligned to product and engineering requirements Experience working with cross-functional teams to validate features, triage issues, and improve product quality Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating test status, release risk, and quality outcomes to stakeholdersPreferred Skills and Experience:
Experience testing across simulated, hardware-in-the-loop, or production-representative environments Hands-on experience with Playwright UI automation and regression testing Experience building/maintaining test infrastructure and tooling Familiarity with release validation, release documentation, and signoff processes Experience monitoring and improving CI health, including flaky test reduction and test stability improvements Experience with unit, integration, and API testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, or similar toolsAdditional Requirements:
This is a hybrid role based in Torrance, CA, with an expectation of 4 days per week in the office to support team collaboration and cross-functional alignment.ITAR REQUIREMENTS

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
