Temple Terrace, FL / Irving, TX (Hybrid) About the Role We're looking for a highly skilled GCP Cloud Security Developer with deep experience in Python development, cloud automation, and securing large‑scale cloud environments. In this role, you will design and build security automation, enhance cloud governance controls, and partner closely with engineering, cloud, and security teams to improve the organization's overall cloud security posture. What You'll Do Design, implement, and operationalize security controls across GCP environments, including IAM, infrastructure, cloud‑native services, and AI‑driven capabilities. Build and maintain security automation, tooling, and workflows using Python and cloud SDKs. Monitor, manage, and enhance cloud security posture through continuous assessment and risk mitigation. Integrate cloud services via APIs and support automation strategies across GCP and multi‑cloud platforms. Partner with cross‑functional teams to define preventive security controls and embed automation into enterprise platforms. Support daily security operations, reporting, documentation, and incident-driven investigations. Lead the ongoing design, testing, deployment, and optimization of GCP services and cloud‑security frameworks. Collaborate with Engineering, Security Governance, Architecture, and Development teams to drive secure cloud adoption. Develop automated guardrails and governance frameworks using Python, Google Cloud SDKs, Terraform, Bash, and related tools. Stay current with emerging cloud security technologies and independently explore new capabilities with a security‑first mindset. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of hands‑on Python development , including API integrations and automation. 5+ years of cloud experience (GCP, AWS, Azure), with 4+ years focused on GCP security, infrastructure, and IAM. 5+ years of cloud automation experience , including development of security tooling. Proficiency with GCP Cloud Functions, Azure Functions, Google Cloud SDK/CLI, and Terraform. Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Django, HTML, jQuery. Experience with Linux and Windows system administration. Familiarity with cloud networking, cloud security concepts, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, GIT). Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years in cloud operations, cloud security, or cloud development roles. Deep understanding of cloud platform technologies (GCP required; Azure/AWS preferred). Experience implementing cloud security best practices, including identity, governance, compliance, networking, and data protection. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to design creative security solutions that address enterprise technical challenges. Hands‑on experience with GCP Security Command Center (SCC) or other CSPM tools. Professional cloud certifications (GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Azure certifications, etc.).
