Job Description
Project Engineer Overview We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will implement client projects, provide escalated technical support, and maintain client environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with networking, Microsoft cloud technologies, Windows server environments, and endpoint management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implement client onboarding, migration, and infrastructure upgrade projects. Provide escalated technical support to team members and end users. Design, deploy, and support network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, VLANs, and VPNs. Administer and support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure environments. Configure and manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Support endpoint management platforms including Intune, RMM, patch management, and security solutions. Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, VoIP, server, cloud, and application issues. Coordinate with ISPs and third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues. Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Track tickets, project tasks, and time accurately. Qualifications Associate degree in computer science or a related field with 3-5 years of experience Experience supporting business network infrastructure and Microsoft environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Knowledge and Skills VLANs, VPNs, routing, and network troubleshooting and configuration Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Intune / Endpoint Manager Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025 Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP Firewall, switch, and wireless access point configuration PowerShell scripting and automation VoIP systems Preferred Certifications CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ Microsoft AZ-900 or AZ-104 Experience working in an MSP environment Personal Skills Strong customer service and communication skills Self-motivated and detail-oriented Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to continuous learning Work Conditions and Other Considerations Office-based with occasional travel to client sites Participation in on-call rotation and after-hours project work Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Must maintain a suitable home workspace for remote support when needed Benefits 401(k)
