Job Description:

Luna Data Solutions has an immediate contract position opening (contract term 6 months with possible extension) for a Network Engineer resource with our client located in Austin, TX.

• Thie resource must work onsite 4 to 5 days/week.

Role:

Network Engineer Role Description This resource provides technical leadership and operational oversight for Level 1 NOC services.

Key Activities/Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor Level 1 engineers
• Oversee daily ticket operations and escalations
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, SLOs, and SOPs
• Provide technical guidance during complex incidents
• Act as escalation and management interface
• Deliver operational reporting and quarterly reviews

Qualifications:

• Senior-level experience in network and telecom operations
• Strong understanding of NOC and ITIL-aligned processes
• Experience with enterprise ITSM platforms (BMC Helix preferred)
