Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers. Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python. Experience with the enterprise Data Center network design and operations in a global environment.

Preferred qualifications:

CCIE/CCDE/PCNSE

certifications. Experience with planning and designing large scale networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.) Knowledge of networking technologies/protocols:

VXLAN, BGP

Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of secure infrastructure solutions for Google's Enterprise Network, including comprehensive requirement analysis and the creation of engineering design documents. Scale network systems sustainably through advanced tools and automation, driving architectural changes that improve overall reliability, efficiency, and deployment velocity. Provide secure and dependable network services to internal customers, serving as a Tier 3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) and participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure maximum network uptime. Collaborate across the business units to analyze technical requirements, implement new technologies, and proactively shape and develop network policy recommendations. Take ownership of multiple technical projects from inception to completion by coordinating engineering efforts, mentoring peer engineers, and driving cross-training initiatives to achieve common goals.
