Job Description

Responsible for complex architecting, designing, administering, and securing company network infrastructure and driving network infrastructure innovation.
Essential Functions:
Architects network & security infrastructure for company information and network systems/applications. Must have experience working with Certificate Management (PKI) in an environment where certificate is used for device authentication and network segmentation. Experience working with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) in an enterprise environment. Experience working with Data Center technologies, i.e.; VMWare NSX, VXLAN, EVPN, and Spine-Leaf Architecture. Requires experience working with and supporting PSTN and SIP infrastructure used by our Cisco Unified Call Manager. Requires in-depth knowledge of switched LAN, WAN, and other networking fundamental design techniques and technologies. Leads the research and evaluation of new emerging technologies, and innovating designs. Conducts proof of concept testing, assessing the relevance of those technologies and how they would impact the company. Implements and maintains critical network infrastructure, including, but not limited to, Cisco switches, Cisco routers, Cisco Datacenter hardware, internet connectivity, voice/phone systems, Wireless solutions, and UPS devices. Deploys, monitors, and maintains critical security infrastructure, including Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Cisco firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, client VPN, business-to-business VPN, and proxy solutions. Will design and implement Palo Alto firewall integrations with external dynamic security services. Will work with our Cisco Prime infrastructure to support our Cisco wireless environment. Has knowledge to integrate SQL Server databases with the Cisco
UCM/UCCX
for IVR features. This will also require development of reports through SQL Reporting Services. Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) and provides support for network/security related incidents. Proactively monitors and measures the overall infrastructure performance and recommends or drives the necessary corrective measures. Acts as technical and professional mentor to other Technology Services staff. Facilitates customer requests and project's, fulfilling network infrastructure needs, coordinating between vendors, technical staff, and customers. Produces accurate system documentation for ease of implementation, and management. Performs routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems; backups, patch management and hot fixes. Establishes requirements, methods and procedures. Plans and schedules hardware and software repair and installations and performs structural changes when necessary. Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery. Maintains regular and punctual on-site attendance

Adds, moves, changes to network, phones and/or related management infrastructure. Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalency in Business, Computer Information Systems, or a related field with ten (10) years of experience in a computer science, technology service, or management information systems environment. OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or a related field with six (6) years of experience in a computer science, technology service, or management information systems environment. OR Master's Degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or a related field with four (4) years of experience in a computer science, technology service, or management information systems environment. OR Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job. PLUS Must have current Cisco CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Data Center, or CCNP Security certifications and CCIE certification would be preferred.

Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service orientation. Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment. Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives. Proven experience with VOIP phones systems and competence with testing tools and procedures with voice and data circuits. Demonstrated experience handling sensitive or confidential information. Demonstrated experience maintaining records of regulatory compliance.
Preferences:
Knowledge of VMware, Cisco, and Palo Alto Network infrastructure solutions strongly preferred. Knowledge of federal, state and other regulatory compliance including, but not limited to, NERC, TLETS/CJIS, EPA, HIPPA, FCRA, and external auditor is strongly preferred.
Conditions of Employment:
Must have and maintain a valid Class "C" Driver's License and valid state required minimum automobile liability insurance prior to employment (must obtain Texas Class "C" driver's license and state required minimum automobile liability insurance within 90 days of hire per state law) Must pass a drug test, driver's license check, criminal history background check, and social security number verification check. Must be able to work outside of regular business hours as needed. Must pass a physical examination
