Job Description

Job Summary Seeking a Senior SDET Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for modern enterprise applications and services. This role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks, validating APIs and event-driven systems, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and improving software quality across cloud-native and containerized environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, Playwright, GraphQL testing, and modern automation engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test solutions for enterprise services and applications Lead efforts in creating comprehensive test scenarios and automation coverage for functional use cases Build and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright and related technologies Develop and maintain automated tests for GraphQL APIs and Pub/Sub communication interfaces such as MQTT, WebSockets, and Server-Sent Events (SSE) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot defects and investigate failures across environments Monitor and maintain test pipelines and automation workflows Analyze application and service logs to diagnose issues and resolve test failures Communicate defects, risks, and testing outcomes clearly with technical teams and stakeholders Contribute to CI/CD automation and software quality engineering best practices Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve testing efficiency and software delivery velocity Support testing efforts within cloud-native and containerized deployment environments Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript Experience with test runners such as Mocha Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks including Playwright Experience testing MQTT or similar Pub/Sub technologies including WebSockets and SSE Experience testing GraphQL APIs and validating complex queries Working knowledge of cloud environments and containerized deployments Experience with Docker images and container registries Experience with Git and Git-based workflows Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins Experience analyzing and correlating application and service logs across distributed systems Experience using Jira or similar issue-tracking tools Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Android test automation frameworks such as Appium Experience working within cloud-native microservices environments Experience with observability and monitoring tools Experience leveraging AI tools to improve software testing and engineering workflows Experience working within Agile development environments Primary Skills Node.js TypeScript Playwright GraphQL API Testing MQTT / WebSockets / SSE Testing CI/CD Pipelines Docker GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins Automation Framework Development
