Summary of Role:
As a Systems Engineer in networking architecture, your job is to work with senior engineers on ensuring the hardware and software related to networking meets functionality and performance metrics.
Essential Responsibilities:
Integrated Design & Simulation:
Using industry standard tools to test and develop networking technology
Networking System Requirements & Architecture:
Defining the how networking is implemented
- mapping out how data flows to and from central compute and control to sensors and motors in factory automation and robotics
Testing & Validation:
Prototyping and conducting hardware-in-the-loop testing to ensure behavior in the real world. Benchmarking competitive solutions.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Studies in embedded systems, networking, networking software or hardware design Education
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related field through an accredited degree program Language Fluency
- English (Written & Verbal) Travel
- Up to 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong planning & organizational skills
Embedded Networking :
Ethernet, TSN, EtherCAT, PROFINET, HSR, PRP, other control networks experience Programming C/C++ (for real-time systems), scripting, Linux device drivers
Networking Tools:
