Job Description This role acts as a senior technical leader supporting large-scale automation and engineering initiatives within a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment. The individual will own system architecture and drive end-to-end execution across controls, automation, and mechanical design while leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining system-level design strategy, overseeing automation solutions such as PLCs, robotics, and material handling systems, and ensuring alignment across engineering disciplines and stakeholders. This person will manage project scope, timelines, and design reviews, while coordinating with vendors, integrators, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The role also plays a key part in commissioning and ramping up systems, driving throughput and performance improvements, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reliability, and overall system performance. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering10-15+ years of experience in industrial automation or manufacturing systemsStrong experience with PLC programming and industrial controlsProven ability to lead end-to-end engineering programs including system architecture and execution strategyExperience managing scope, schedules, and cross-functional engineering teams across complex projectsBackground in mechanical system design and material handling systemsStrong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to drive technical decisionsExperience with ASRS systems or warehouse automation technologiesRobotics integration experience (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.)Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508)Experience working with
HMI/SCADA
