Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX/ Findlay, OH/ Denver, CO. The ideal candidate with extensive corporate enterprise experience designing, implementing, and optimizing LAN/WAN infrastructure, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and network security solutions.

Rate Range:

$51/Hour to $85/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

San Antonio, TX:

$50

•80/hr.

Findlay, OH:

$51

•75/hr.

Denver, CO:

$53

•85/hr. Senior Network Engineer Job Responsibilities include: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network security solutions while enforcing access control policies. Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark, proactively identifying and resolving connectivity and performance issues. Troubleshoot complex network outages and conduct root cause analysis across corporate enterprise environments. Support network segmentation, intrusion detection/prevention initiatives, and security compliance to protect critical infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network resiliency, implement infrastructure upgrades, and maintain Windows Server environments.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience). 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, supporting large-scale LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments. Strong hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing & switching, and firewall administration in a corporate enterprise environment. Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark, including network performance optimization and fault analysis. Pay Details:
