Job Description

MAC Automation is recruiting a Junior Engineer/Technologist to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. This is a great opportunity for a new graduate to build a career in industrial automation, working on a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. You'll receive hands-on mentorship while contributing to real client work as part of a collaborative project team. What You'll Do Program and configure SCADA hosts, RTUs, and PLCs across various platforms Support the design, programming, and integration of robotics and automated systems Support troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities, liaising directly with client stakeholders Maintain complete project documentation, including construction packages, as-built records, and return data Help deliver project milestones that meet client quality and schedule expectations Represent MAC Automation professionally, both with clients and in the broader industry What You'll Need Degree or diploma in Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation, or Computer Science Engineering/Technology (new grads welcome — prior automation experience is a plus, not a requirement) Strong troubleshooting instincts, with the ability to propose solutions as issues arise Comfort adapting to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of the organization and with clients Solid computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel) Working knowledge of VBScript, Access, and SQL Server is an asset Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
