Strategic Technologies Analytics Group (STAG) is seeking a high-caliber Target Analyst Reporter (TAR) to join our growing Operations team. You will serve as the bridge between technical exploitation and executive-level intelligence. Your mission is to take complex signals and digital network data and transform them into clear, concise, and actionable serialized reports that drive national security decisions. As a team member, you will be responsible for the team's final products, transforming complex metadata, signal intercepts, and digital footprints into formal, serialized reports that drive operational action.Job Description:
In this role, you will analyze highly complex and diverse mission areas requiring innovative solutions using government-provided toolsets. Additionally, you will conduct the following duties:- Masterfully blend diverse data streams; including SIGINT, metadata, and network traffic to identify adversary patterns, infrastructure shifts, and intent.
- Conduct operational research from various sources/metadata to identify, analyze, and characterize networks (logically and physically), telecommunications, and social networks to build a comprehensive operational picture.
- Provide gaps and seams analysis to identify additional intelligence and/or capability requirements.
- Serve as the team's legal frontline by ensuring all reporting strictly adheres to privacy frameworks (e.g., USSID 18) and organizational policies.
- Conduct deep-dive research to map adversary digital ecosystems. You will identify key nodes, communication methods, and vulnerabilities within target networks.
- Deliver customized target and technical solutions via oral, visual, and written analytical products to support our client's operational requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or be willing to pass a polygraph as required.
- BS or BA degree in Technical, Engineering, Computer Science, or Creative Writing related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience or at least 8 years of technical experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in using analytic tools (e.g., Analyst's Notebook, XKeyscore, or IC-proprietary databases) to conduct social network and link analysis.
- Ability to write for a sophisticated audience, stripping away "cyber-speak" while maintaining 100% technical accuracy.
- Demonstrative experience with SIGINT reporting methodologies and tools
- Strong critical thinking and collaboration skills.
- Experience drafting serialized SIGINT product reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self- motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, and can organize and manage individual schedule.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments like USCYBERCOM, NSA, or similar tactical cyber units.
- Working knowledge of the OSI Model, specifically Layers 1-3 (Physical, Data Link, Network) and common protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SMTP).
