Job Description

About the role Insight Xcite is seeking senior- and expert-level Voice / VoIP Engineers in Herndon, Virginia, to design, implement, and troubleshoot secure enterprise voice and video solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and support enterprise voice, video, and unified-communications services. Troubleshoot call quality, signaling, routing, interoperability, and network-performance issues. Work with SIP, RTP, H.323, QoS, session border controllers, call routing, encryption, firewalls, and VPNs. Integrate voice services with LAN/WAN, cloud, and other enterprise infrastructure. Produce diagrams, operating procedures, test plans, and technical documentation. Required Qualifications Significant enterprise VoIP or unified-communications engineering experience. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, voice protocols, call routing, and troubleshooting methods. Experience with Cisco voice platforms or comparable enterprise technologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting secure government or mission environments. Experience with automation, monitoring, cloud connectivity, or voice-security controls. Relevant Cisco or networking certifications. Clearance Requirement Due to the nature of our work, Insight Xcite does not sponsor or process security clearances at this time. Applicants must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) to be considered for employment. Please do not apply if you do not currently hold this level of clearance. Work Location Requirement All Insight Xcite positions are onsite. We do not offer remote or hybrid opportunities.
