Citizens, Nionals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Clarificion from the agency Open to Public Duties Help Serves as Wireless Network Engineer and responsible for network administrion and operional support for wireless technologies including configurion, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance as well as roting 24/7 on call support. Candide will work with functional groups and vendors to assess technologies, develop technical solutions for our environment and execute approved changes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide operional support for the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Enterprise Network wireless technologies via monitoring, configurion, maintenance, designs, inventory control and on call support;
• Assist with wired network operional support;
• Maintain configurion management control in accordance with defined standards, policies, and industry best practices;
• Comply with and ensure security standards and policies for DoD and PCI are followed all times;
• Assist the Network Services Team, functional groups, vendors and managers to evalue and select approprie value-add solutions and innovions;
• Assist with and/or lead technology upgrades and engineering initiives as assigned Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.

Assists customers and communices positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. EVALUATIONS

Qualificions Four years of reled experience th demonstres possession of knowledge and skills equivalent to th gained in the above. Applicable educion may be substituted for years of experience. Two (2) years demonstred experience with wireless network solutions in a medium to large organizion including design, configurion, deployment, operion, monitoring and troubleshooting.

In addition:

• Possession of least one wireless or network certificion, such as

CWNA, CCNA, CCS

Wireless Design, CCS:

Wireless Solutions, JNCIA-Junos, JNCIA MistAI, or ACMA is preferred;

• Working knowledge of Cisco Calyst Center, Aruba Central, or Juniper Mist plforms;
• Proficiency with least one wireless survey and analysis tool such as Ekahau, AirMagnet, Hamina, or an equivalent solution;
• Experience with documenting networks with spreadsheets, diagrams, etc.;
• Ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality architectures;
• Self-starter, with a demonstred ability to work independently and manage multiple projects;
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communice abstract concepts in verbal, written, and visual forms;
• Strong ability to understand client expections and to resolve issues th may affect delivery;
• Basic knowledge and understanding of UNIX, Microsoft Windows, Android and associed environmental technologies;
• Prior experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions or Radio frequency Identificion (RFID) technologies is preferred;
• Position requires modere travel;
• As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Informion Systems candide must possess or receive Informion Assurance awareness by completing the Security+ Certificion as a condition of access within six months of employment and thereafter must complete annual Informion Assurance awareness training.

This position has been designed as a position of trust. The incumbent must be eligible for an Access Nional Agency Check and Inquiries (ANACI/ Tier 3) background investigion to sisfy IT Level II designion.
