Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an MPLS Transport Network Analyst who will support a large-scale MPLS transport network responsible for critical communications infrastructure. The ideal candidate comes from a carrier or service provider background and has hands-on experience configuring, provisioning, and supporting MPLS environments. The team is looking for a self-directed professional who can quickly become productive, execute against established architecture standards, and contribute immediately to operational and deployment initiatives.   •  Extensive knowledge of routing and switching protocols in MPLS environments:
IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, RSVP
TE, LDP, and Bidirectional Forwarding Detection
MPLS L2/L3
Services, e.g., Pseudowires, eLAN, E-Pipes, VPRN, VPLS, TDMoIP, and Circuit Emulation
  •  MEF and Carrier Ethernet standards
  •  Detailed knowledge of Telecommunications Engineering concepts associated with the design and installation of single mode fiber systems
  •  Working knowledge of AC and DC power systems as applied to Telecommunications systems
  •  Experience with Nokia transport equipment
  •  Commissioning and troubleshooting DWDM systems
  •  Knowledge of Circuit Vision
