WAN Engineer Location:

Chicago, Richmond, Mclean, and Plano Key Responsibilities Design and implement WAN, LAN, and data center network solutions (including cloud connectivity) Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, act as a high-level escalation point Lead network design and implementation efforts, ensuring scalability and compliance Collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams Deploy and manage connectivity solutions (e.g., MPLS, SD-WAN, Direct Connect, Interconnect) Drive automation initiatives using scripting (Python, Ansible) Support network operations, including participation in on-call rotation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in enterprise or data center networking Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.) Hands-on experience with WAN technologies and cloud networking (AWS preferred) Experience with network automation and scripting. Desired Qualifications Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent .
