Job Description
The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later. Responsibilities include gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity automation, workflow analysis, and data-driven decision making. This role involves close collaboration with engineers and product owners to identify automation opportunities, document technical processes, and develop security automations that reduce manual effort and eliminate manual steps. The ideal candidate is a curious and motivated problem solver who enjoys analyzing automation use cases, mapping workflows, and developing automations that enhance team performance. The Summer Associate will gain exposure to both the strategic and day-to-day functions of the SOAR team while contributing meaningful project deliverables and operational insights. Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or Computer Science Familiarity with Process Improvement methodologies Experience with research, analysis, and data driven outcomes Familiarity with the creation of automation playbooks Experience using coding languages such as: Python, JavaScript, or Java Ability to adapt to new technologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and think outside of the box Strong strategic, critical, and analytical thinking skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Knowledge of Automation and SOAR platforms is a plus
