IP Test Engineer

IP Test Engineer - Must be Local to

Redmond,WA Introduction:

The IP Test Engineer will be responsible for testing and evaluating IP networks, including LAN (wired & wireless), WAN, and Firewall configurations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IP Design and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans for IP networks Test and troubleshoot LAN (wired & wireless), WAN, and Firewall configurations Validate VPN technologies such as GRE, IPSec/SSL VPNs Test and troubleshoot Multicast protocols including

PIM-SM, MSDP, IGMP

Experience with SDN/NFV technologies Knowledge of VXLAN, GRE, MPLS, SRv4, SRv6, EVPN, BGP, L2, VPLS, OSPF, ISIS Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network issues Document test results and provide recommendations for network improvements

Required Skills:

Experience with IP Design, Infra, LAN (wired & wireless), WAN, and Firewall Knowledge of VPN technologies such as GRE, IPSec/SSL VPNs Understanding of Multicast protocols including

PIM-SM, MSDP, IGMP

Experience with SDN/NFV technologies Proficiency in VXLAN, GRE, MPLS, SRv4, SRv6, EVPN, BGP, L2,

VPLS, OSPF, ISIS Preferred Skills:

Certifications in networking such as

CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP

Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
