Job Description

Job Description Team:

This team is responsible for managing the enterprise on-premises data center network infrastructure and supporting the core network used by the lab community. They oversee day-to-day network operations, including move, add, and change (MAC) requests, maintenance activities, upgrades, and other operational networking functions that ensure the reliability and continuity of critical services. We are looking for a Network Engineer 3 to independently execute operational networking work, allowing full-time employees to focus on strategic initiatives, onboarding new services, and other high-priority business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Covering deployment, migration, DLM, troubleshooting
  •  Change execution, documentation, and operational transition support under FTE direction.
  •  Support network operations across the company's enterprise data center and lab networking environments.
  •  Execute network move, add, and change (MAC) requests and operational work items
  •  Perform network maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure support activities.
  •  Help maintain service reliability while increasing team capacity for strategic initiatives and new service onboarding.

  •  5 years of enterprise experience working as an L2/L3 network engineer
  •  5 years of experience with network platform operations
  •  5 years of experience with change execution
  •  Experience with lab network infrastructure
  •  Proven ability to independently execute network move, add, and change (MAC) requests.
