Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Service Tech Electrician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical solutions for our clients. Responsibilities Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels in residential properties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical plans Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations and repairs Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) Perform low voltage wiring for security systems, home automation, or communication networks as needed Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and other related tasks Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed Requirements Proven experience as a residential electrician with knowledge of NEC standards and schematics reading Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician experience, or commercial electrician experience is a plus Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment such as multimeters Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; construction site experience is preferred Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems; experience with renovation projects is advantageous Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques Maintenance Person experience or frame carpentry skills are beneficial for versatile project support Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in NEC or high voltage work are desirable Join us to bring energy-efficient solutions into homes while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values your skills!
