A well-established engineering and manufacturing organization in the Phoenix, AZ area is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator / Microsoft Cloud Engineer for a full-time position. This role is focused on designing, securing, and supporting a complex hybrid infrastructure environment spanning Microsoft 365 GCC High, Microsoft Azure, enterprise virtualization platforms, identity management, and on-premises data center technologies. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years administering Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID Experience supporting Microsoft 365 GCC High environments Strong Azure administration experience across compute, networking, storage, and infrastructure services Expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, Conditional Access, and identity management PowerShell scripting and automation experience Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint management VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V administration experience Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions, ideally Veeam Backup & Replication Strong networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and switching Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
