ORA_HYBRID Description The Server Team Lead manages the core server infrastructure and guides the systems engineering team. This role combines hands-on technical expertise in Microsoft ecosystems with team leadership to ensure system availability, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Supervise daily operations, mentor junior engineers, and assign technical tasks.
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee deployment, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.
Identity & Email Administration:
Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Exchange environments.
System Monitoring:
Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and proactive issue resolution.
Storage & Backup:
Maintain enterprise storage solutions and execute data backup and recovery policies.
Security & Compliance:
Implement patch management, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
Process Automation:
Develop scripts to streamline server deployment and routine maintenance. Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications IT experience: 6+ years
Leadership:
Minimum 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
Microsoft Ecosystem:
Advanced expertise in Windows Server, Microsoft Entra ID, and Exchange (Online/On-Premises).
Virtualization:
Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
Storage & Backup:
Proficiency with enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and backup tools (e.g., Veeam).
Scripting:
Competency in PowerShell for automation and task efficiency.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications Linux Systems:
Experience administering Red Hat, Centos, or Ubuntu server environments.
Cloud Infrastructure:
Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud computing services.
Certifications:
Microsoft Certified:
Enterprise Administrator Expert, VMware VCP, or Linux certifications (RHCSA).
Target salary range:
$120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
