The selected candidate will provide systems administration and cybersecurity support for Windows and UNIX/Linux environments while assisting with Risk Management Framework (RMF), Authority to Operate (ATO), and Information Assurance (IA) activities. This position supports mission-critical systems and requires close coordination with cybersecurity personnel, system owners, engineers, and government stakeholders.

NAS Point Mugu, CA Essential Functions:
Administer and maintain Windows and UNIX/Linux servers and supporting infrastructure. Support RMF documentation activities and system authorization efforts. Assist with development, maintenance, and submission of accreditation documentation. Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with IA and RMF requirements. Perform system patching, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management activities. Review audit logs, ACAS scan results, and vulnerability reports and implement corrective actions. Support IAVM reporting and continuous monitoring activities. Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access controls. Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and recoverability. Support installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of hardware, operating systems, and software applications. Develop and maintain system documentation, diagrams, software inventories, and standard operating procedures. Participate in Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities and change request reviews. Ensure system changes are processed in accordance with Configuration Management Plans (CMPs). Coordinate activities with system owners, cybersecurity personnel, engineers, and government stakeholders. Support logistics, training, and technical documentation efforts. Participate in the Ranges Department IA Enterprise Team and provide support to other organizational elements as required. Other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements Required:
Minimum of 5 years of systems administration experience supporting Windows and/or UNIX/Linux environments. CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD-approved Information Assurance certification required. Experience administering servers, implementing patches, troubleshooting systems, and managing software installations and upgrades. Experience supporting cybersecurity requirements, including STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and account management. Familiarity with configuration management processes, change control procedures, and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Desired:
Experience supporting RMF and system authorization activities. Experience with ACAS, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring. Experience supporting enterprise Windows Server and UNIX/Linux operating systems. Experience with automated security and reporting tools.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
