BMD, Inc. is looking for a skilled and motivated System & Network Administrator to help support and strengthen our technology environment. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving problems, supporting users, and keeping systems running reliably and securely. This position supports the daily operations of our on-premises and Azure cloud computer networks , helps maintain infrastructure and security, and provides endpoint support for users across the company. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team environment where reliability, communication, and follow-through matter. What You'll Do Administer, maintain, monitor, and support BMD's on-premises and cloud technology infrastructure. Support enterprise network systems across company locations, including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, internet connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and related services. Administer and support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, and related cloud and on-premises infrastructure services. Manage identity, authentication, permissions, privileged access, and technology access throughout the employee lifecycle. Support enterprise endpoint and mobile device management platforms, including configuration, deployment, software distribution, patching, compliance, and lifecycle management. Support the company's cybersecurity program through security tool administration, alert monitoring, vulnerability remediation, endpoint and infrastructure security, and coordination with cybersecurity vendors. Investigate security alerts, contain technical threats, preserve information, and escalate significant incidents appropriately. Develop and maintain patching and vulnerability remediation processes for servers, endpoints, network equipment, operating systems, and other infrastructure. Administer and monitor backup and recovery systems and support disaster recovery and business continuity testing. Monitor infrastructure performance and identify trends, capacity issues, or recurring incidents to recommend improvements. Provide technical recommendations on capacity, lifecycle replacement, architecture, reliability, and future infrastructure needs. Lead or coordinate infrastructure projects and technology implementations, including upgrades, migrations, deployments, and location changes. Work with technology vendors, managed service providers, telecommunications providers, and cybersecurity partners to resolve issues and maintain service performance. Maintain accurate records and inventories for infrastructure hardware, software, licensing, network equipment, endpoints, and related configurations. Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, and efficiency through standardization, automation, scripting, and process improvement. Proactively identify risks and escalate issues, concerns, and investment needs to the Director. Perform additional duties as required and requested. Experience in a system, network, infrastructure, or related IT support role. Experience supporting on-premises and cloud-based environments. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, and endpoint management preferred. Experience with LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, wireless networks, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure preferred. Experience supporting cybersecurity tools, patching, backups, and disaster recovery preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, and Visio. Experience with programming languages, methodologies, and technical tools such as SQL/MySQL, XML, HTML5, JavaScript, SSIS, SSRS, C#, .NET, GitHub, Salesforce administration, or similar technologies is preferred. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive company information appropriately.
