Job Summary:
The Senior System Administrator's role is to administer Pipeline Health's computer systems to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications. This individual participates in the planning and implementation of computer systems to ensure system deployments are consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. This position also supports the System Administrator as a resource and mentor. Beyond technical responsibilities, the Senior System Administrator will often act as a liaison between hospital management staff and the Information Technology department. Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health, upholding standards of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) patient communication. Essential Functions:
Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers. Coordinate with network engineering, business application, and database administration functions to implement desktop and server systems that utilize industry best practices to meet corporate objectives. Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers, multiple databases, and during data transfer in accordance to business needs and industry bestpractices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers, input/output fleet, and workstations. Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases. Provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the IT team. Maintain current knowledge of relevant information of systems, storage, industries best practices, and current and evolving technology. Proactively and strategically performs systems monitoring and management. Provides leadership in special projects. Uses clear, concise, professional communication with coworkers, patients, all customers internal and external. Uses AIDET in interactions with patients and family members. Acts with a sense of urgency when performing tasks. Basic unit/department maintenance such as keeping files, drawers, cabinets free from unnecessary clutter. Reports on any equipment and or environmental issues for repair. Abides by HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations. Speaks up to stop the line and escalates potential safety events if necessary. Completes and attends monthly training assigned. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of seven (7) years of IT system experience required including but not limited to designing, implementing and supporting enterprise routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare specific experience required. Strong knowledge of multi-platform systems, virtual environments, and centralized storage. Strong knowledge of local area network administration. Proficiency in the design, implementation, and maintenance of SD-WAN and hybrid cloud environments. Experience supporting or integrating with colocation and datacenter environments, including cross-connects, circuit provisioning, and coordination with datacenter providers. Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting of complete routing and network security controls. In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to Healthcare Information Technology. #INDMHG Education Preferred Bachelors or better in Computer Science Licenses & Certifications Preferred Cisco (CCNA) Fortinet NSE 4 Fortinet
