Network Administrator

Network Administrator Folsom, CA Duration:

Long term Mandatory Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Designing, implementing, and managing LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and network topology; Utilizing monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc) to manage and diagnose network issues; Configuring and maintaining network firewalls both external facing and in support of network segmentation; Applying security patches and updates to network devices; Setting up VLANs and subnets; Creating and maintaining network diagrams, configuration documentation, and standard operating procedures. Desirable Qualifications Possession of a •Bachelor s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent in the fields of Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering; Possession of a CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification; Minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing and supporting hybrid network configurations in support of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc); Minimum of five (5) years of experience complying with government security standards such as NIST.
